One day in early March I couldn’t resist taking a picture of Mabry Mill, which is located in the Blue Ridge Parkway within Floyd County, Virginia. I had approached the mill site from nearby Meadows of Dan. The ice formations hanging from the sluiceway caught my attention.
Although I had drifted a bit from my usual botanical shots, this photo seemed worthwhile. I surmise that this photo is one of many thousands taken at this site by tourists, especially during summer seasons.
